    Background Color on Wizard Pages

When running in Wizard97 mode, the wizard pages seem to have the BackColor hardcoded to white. If you manually set the wizard page backcolor to systemcolors.control it seems to do the trick. This has caused us problems when upgrading to the Wizard Framework 1.1 since all out old wizards needed to be fixed in this way.

Can you elaborate at all? The BackColor property of any specific pages should be being disregarded entirely by our product, as this color is determined by the kind of user experience you have selected (wizard aero or wizard 97).

Unless the WizardPage BackColor property is explicitly set to SystemColors.Control, it will be white. This of course tends to look ok in Vista since the Wizard style used there has a white background. But in the Wizard97 style on Windows XP, it doesn’t match up since the background on those wizards is the control color. I will email you a screen shot.

    Tim,

I can confirm this is still happening. I develop on Vista and set the UserExperienceType to Automatic - the background is white by default on XP.
    Regards, Matt
