Sorry if this seems like a facetious test... but it does seem to work...

let's see... it didn't use to work before... instead of showing the quote as it does now, it would show [ BLOCKQUOTE ] tags around the text to be quoted...

still doesn't seem to work for me... here's what i see...

GingerTez seems to know how to use it correctly, perhaps he'll impart his knowledge upon us.

It worked earlier in IE6 from work - but as you can see above it doesn't work from home (where I use IE7). Do we have a browser incompatability issue?

EDIT: Just to clarify - I can see the correct quotes from earlier but any new quotes I do from IE7 don't work properly.

EDIT #2: It looks okay in the 'preview' window though... I'm now officially confused!

Of course, in the interests of completeness I should state that the previous post was IE7 on Vista... and this post is from IE7 on XP... so if the quote is showing correctly on this post then it's a Vista problem!

EDIT: Looks like a general IE7 problem....
