On Saturday 16 June 2007 somebody created an account on this forum and used the private messaging facility to send a common hoax email to several users concerning money in an African country.
Needless to say, if you have received such a message you should disregard it.
No private information has been compromised, the user simply made use of the existing private messaging feature offered by this software. You can stop the forum software from sending you any email by setting the option in your account control panel.
